Healthier Candy Choices?

Candy is possibly the best friend of most little kids. They will do anything they can to get their hands on just one piece of candy no matter what it takes. Summer is just around the corner, and that means more events where candy is a treat for all of the guests. Birthdays, weddings, baby showers and much much more are great places where most of the guests have a reason to pig out and enjoy the sweet tooth that has been given to all of us. With the tips i'm about to give you on which candies are the best for your sweet tooth, having all the candies you want in order to satisfy your sweet tooth will be the best thing that could have ever happened to you.

Some of the Candies that are better for your health are..

  • Dark Chocolate anything. The darker the chocolate the better it will be for you. Anything that contains real dark chocolate(none of the fake chocolate) has less sugar than any other chocolates, and has been shown to help reduce your blood pressure.
  • Chocolate with almonds. Any chocolate that contains almonds in it has less sugar because there is less chocolate. The almonds in the chocolate contains a variety of nutrients.
  • Lollipops may seem like one of the candies that isn't at all good for you, but in fact it's the candy that is low in calories and satisfies your sweet tooth at the same time, which is definitely a plus if you ask me.
If your still a person who enjoys your fair share of candies and still won't give up your candies, some alternatives you can take are..
  • Eating smaller portions of candy.
  • Eating all natural dried up fruits as a small snack instead of a piece of candy.
In the end of the day, a little candy never hurt anyone. I would like to guess that having a few pieces of candy a year is definitely not bad at all

  1. I found your blog extremely interesting. I enjoyed reading about lollipops because I wouldn't expect them to be healthy so I was glad to learn that!
