The Atkins Diet: Review

We have all seen plenty of different diet books that claim to help us lose weight fast, but do any of these diets actually succeed in doing so? This is quite simple, the results are all depended on you, whether or not you are fully committed to the diet plan and losing weight or just simply too lazy to do so.

After hearing so much hype about the Atkins Diet, seeing celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Perry try this diet plan and have remarkable results. I thought I would look over this diet plan and see what exactly was so great in keeping all these celebrities looking so remarkable.

After looking over and reviewing all the aspects of the Atkins Diet, this diet plan seems to be one of the diets where you as the dieter must be fully committed in order to fully see results the way you want, there is no holding back to anything.

First thing that I had noticed when I reviewed this diet plan and wondering how it worked was that, I believe that this diet would be best suitable  for dieters who are looking for a dramatic weight loss compared to those dieters are are looking to shed a couple 10-15 pounds on their bodies in a short period of time.

With every diet plan out in the world today, there will obviously be positives and negatives with every single diet plan out there. When I was looking over the Atkins Diet book I happened to notice that the balance between the positives and negatives are pretty accurately balanced out and equal.

POSITIVES:

  • This diet plan isn't like any other out there, it still allows you to to eat the steak we all enjoy and love, butter, and creams in our diets.
  • Once you know what your diet plan is and how it looks and what to eat, it is easy to maintain and follow.
  • The Atkins Diet is one of the more popular diets in the world, and so for any reason you happened to need any support or help, there is tons of information everywhere.
NEGATIVES:
  • Because this diet is such a popular one, almost everyone has heard of it and there are plenty of misconceptions about the diet.
  • You must keep track of your carb intake, which for some people this may be a hassle to do every single day.
  • Dieters may perhaps become bored with the same diet plan for a certain amount of time.
Now, I may not be overweight or looking to diet any time soon, but if for any reason I was to go on a diet at any time in my life, the Atkins Diet would probably be my first choice because it promises results which is what anyone ever wants.
Happy Dieting!

  1. Looking at the diet on line I was surprised with the food you cook eat, everything looks so good. You would not think some one who eats chicken wings and chilli is on a diet. I have witness success of this diet, I know someone who tried the Atkin diet last year and lost over 30 pounds. You are right with saying dieters may be bored with the meal plan. The weight loss is the main focus however if the meal plan is not appetizing long term then dieters will return to old eating habits.
I am glad I now have a balanced ideas of the pros and cons of this diet.
